Morning Yoga: I was first introduced to yoga by an enlightened teacher at age 5, in a school gym in Cologne, Germany.

In 1995 I again found my way to yoga classes and with refreshed appetite, my regular practice began in 2002, with Cliff Bond in Liverpool, since then yoga has been a steady support in my life.

Two other teachers in Liverpool also inspired me greatly: Frank Perry and Debbie Radcliff. It is thanks to Debbie that I eventually made my way to Mysore in South India and studied under Pattabhi Jois; the father of Ashtanga Yoga; and his grandson Sharath Rangaswamy.

This experience is among the most treasured in my life.
